happy 4th.

Wanna know what I absolutely love? 

-fireworks 

-lightening and thunder storms

-old friends 

-laying on my roof 

-laughing

and

-the feeling of being completely content

Today was a solid day because I got to do and feel every single one of those things. 

I'm currently laying on my roof, listening to the thunder way off in the distance, and watching the lightening over the hill. And for once in Hurricane in July, it's not over 110 degrees. Perks of being up at 1:30 in the morning I suppose. 

This is what my street looks like at such a lovely hour. 

Before I found myself on the roof, I found myself with friends that I haven't seen in a while. And it was so nice. We talked about old times and made new times we could talk about in the future.

We burned up 30 sparklers in about 5 minutes, but I loved it. My favorite thing about this picture? We all look genuinely happy. 

Days like today. They're what life's all about.
